In celebration of the return of the wonderfully magical Practical Magic next fall, in the form of Practical Magic 2, our 2025 yarn advent is a celebration of the enchanting Owen sisters and much loved book series. We are pleased to introduce to you PRACTICAL MAGIC REVIVAL. The colourways in this year's collection are inspired by the enchanting, magnetic and captivating world of Gillian and Sally.

There is an option for both a 12 and 24 mini skein advent. Consumers should know that if selecting the 12 skein option, they will receive 12 variegated colourway minis. If opting for the 24 mini skein variation, the advent will contain 12 variegated minis along with a corresponding tonal/semi tonal. These minis will all blend well with one another and lend themselves to a variety of colourwork projects, however they will NOT create an outright fade.

Each mini skein of yarn comes individually wrapped and numbered, but you can also be a rule breaker and open them however you like! All items are nestled in a box that is ready for gifting.

approximately 87 yards/80 metres per 20 gram skein on our STRAIGHT UP SOCK fingering base (75/25 Superwash Merino/Nylon) - classic & workhorse

approximately 78 yards/72 metres per 20 gram skein on our HI TWIST fingering base (85/15 Superwash Merino/Nylon) - bouncy, great texture!

approximately 50 yards/45 metres per 20 gram skein on our DK DELUXE base (85/15 Superwash Merino/Nylon) - super soft

approximately 50 yards/45 metres per 20 gram skein on our DK base (75/25 Superwash Merino/Nylon) - classic & workhorse

What's a magical yarn advent without some witchy extras?

A) Trio of wooden tools; wooden sock blockers with "I Practice Stitch Craft" engraving, a square gauge ruler and a 3 set of 2.5”x2.5” wooden info “cheat sheet” cards (you get to choose!).

B) Bento-style yarn holder in a magical themed fabric, lavender sachet in cotton canvas, and a set of 6 witchy themed glass bead/wood stitch markers (slider or lobster closure option).

C) Our classic drawstring project bag in cotton/canvas/twill. Option to have plain, "Stitch Witch" or "I Practice Stitch Craft" in black lettering on one side of bag. Interfaced and fully lined, measuring approximately 10” x 9” x 4"/25.4cm x 22.9cm x 10cm.

All of our yarn is dyed in our smoke free workshop, using professional grade acid dyes, with love on the Canadian Prairies. All wooden and sewn items are made in house, as well!
