The 2 plies make the yarn slightly bumpy which helps the strands of yarn hold together against each other making it great for colourwork and lace work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYarn is hand dyed in small batches in our smoke free workshop, using professional acid dyes and high quality yarn. No two skeins are identical, even if they come from the same dye lot; a feature that lends to their beauty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile we try to ensure accuracy in my photos, it is possible that colours may not be exactly as shown due to variances on computer and portable device screens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCARE INSTRUCTIONS\u003cbr\u003e\nHand-wash your item in cool water and lay flat to dry for best results.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note that while all efforts are taken during production to ensure this yarn is colourfast, it is possible for hand-dyed yarn to bleed minimally in the first few washes.
